Gus Dapperton, de opkomende indie songwriter uit Warwick NY., bracht onlangs de EP Yellow and Such uit, een beloftevol plaatje vol dromerige muziek met 80's -invloeden. Pigeons & Planes omschrijft Yellow and Such als “sounds like a dream—a dazzling display of layered production, ambient segues, and lyrics that resonate. It’s a four-song exploration of falling in love for the first time, an experience that shaped the maturity of his sound and caliber of work.”

De Antwerpse surfrockband Danny Blue and the Old Socks brengt - hou u vast - lo-fi indie uptempo tropical bikini-rock die doet denken aan toppers als Mac DeMarco, The Drums, The Kooks, Equal Idiots , ... .  20 oktober verscheen debuut-ep EP Backyard Days  op Starman Records.  Samengevat: excellente indie met vettige gitaren, knallende drums en happy tunes.
