Michael Forshaw

Michael Forshaw makes and plays mad dirty electro and is the man behind the awesome "Chan & Mikes Records". After discovering Gary Numan, Michael launched his musical career DJing in '86 in a gay bar in Blackpool playing hi energy/disco/electro and early house. '88 saw him clubbing fulltime which in turn led to a severe burnout in '90 :) and a residency in Cardiff. Another change of residency led to the meeting of Richard Thair and Dean Thatcher who were to encourage Michael to send them tracks for release on the Flaw label. A taste for vinyl Michael and Chantal set up their own label 'My Breathing' and in '99 the new label 'Chan & Mikes' was born. Furtheron, Michael had releases on a.o. "Penalty" and "Core 7", ànd remixed a.o. THE ALOOF a few years ago...
