Andrew Ashong

De Brits-Ghanese producer en dj Andrew Ashong is 1 van de grootste talenten van de huidige bloeiende Engelse soulscene. Zijn eerste solo-release bracht hij uit op Theo Parrish’s label Sound Signature. De titel track 'Flowers' werd in 2013 nog ‘Track of the Year’ op de Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards. Theo Parrish zei zelf het volgende over het album: “The Funk. Right under my nose were all the essential elements: simplicity, drive, and honesty gained from heartfelt experience in Andrew Ashong’s music. It’s more than just that. It’s human.” In 2014 bracht Ashong de EP 'Andrew Ashong EP' uit. In datzelfde jaar mcoht hij spelen op de Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards.
