Bambu Crew

"Bambu has been around for nearly seven years now, but in it's most recent incarnation consists of three people: dice, dylan and karbonkid. All coming from different backgrounds: hip hop (Dice), mod (DLN), hardcore (Karbonkid) but all with the same love of the true jungle sound. They can be found playing everything from old school house to funk & soul from the sixties, through to the early nineties hardcore, hip hop, jungle and finally drum and bass. Having such broad intrests in music truly reflects in their selection as dj's. Currently they are in the process of relaunching their nights in Antwerp, but can be found behind the decks at the notorious S.O.S. bar (www.shotonstage.org) every last friday of the month where they show their eclectic love of all things musical. Their taste in Jungle/Drum 'n Bass really encompasses the entire spectrum but with a strong influence of beats and bass. In the past they hosted nights with artists such as Paradox (www.paradoxmusic.com) , Rohan (www.bassbin.com), Equinox and have been booked alongside legends Bizzy B, Grooverider, Andy C, Storm and others. Recently they have also enlisted a very talented visual artist (Teknar) to add to their performances and have already received attention in both Belgium and Holland (www.teknar.be)
