De Nederlandse met Britse roots stond vorig jaar al op Different Class, het jaarlijkse festival van Subbacultcha. Ze maakt mysterieuze, trippy pop en fascineert heel wat invloedrijke blogs, ondanks haar afwezigheid op internet. Ze bepertk biografische info tot een minimum, maar wat opzoekingswerk van Pitchfork bracht aan het licht dat ze Beatrice de Rijke heet, en al heel wat namen gebruikte (Beatriz Colette, Beatriz Collins, BEA).

 In 2014 kwam EP Good Thinking uit, met de nummers 'Breadwinner', 'Safe Ground' en 'Filthy Believer'. In 2015 volgde EP Songs of 2K11, met single 'My Name Is Written On It'. Haar fans zijn niet min: The Guardian, DIY mag, The Fader, Dazed Digital, i-D, Dev Hynes (Blood Orange), ... 

Breadwinner – her debut single, premiered here – is a brilliantly hypnotic, slow-burning slice of sophisticated electropop that pushes her low burr of a voice front and centre for the verses before utilising some almost Enya-like wispiness for the alluring chorus.
