Lauren Auder^(UK)

De 19-jarige Londense producer en singer-songwriter Lauren Auder is een hype in de beste zin van het woord. Hij heeft een baritonstem om jaloers op te zijn, is een genderfluïd rolmodel én model voor onder meer Vogue en Dazed. Hij is bevriend met de hippe Londense undergroundrappers slowthai en Jeshi en tekende net een platencontract bij True Panther Sounds (Abra, King Krule).

Zijn debuut-EP Who Carry's You lijkt wel het audiovisuele liefdeskind van King Krule en Perfume Genius. Auder mixt klassieke barokpop, post-rock elementen met een laagje ambient en een beetje soul. Zowel op de plaat als op het podium komt de piepjonge singer-songwriter over als een elegante engel die je betovert.
