Liniker e os Caramelows uit São Paulo (Brazilie) komt naar Europa. De band combineert soul met MPB (populaire Braziliaanse muziek), met een energieke liveshow als resultaat. Frontvrouw Liniker Barros met Afrikaanse roots is transgender, en laat haar stem horen. "We need representation. Society tries to invisibilize and delegitimize our existence. It's extremely important — not just for me, but for each of us — to be occupying all positions, the stages and the countries to continue to resist and exist."

De release van een aantal liveversies van nummers zorgde ervoor dat de band viraal ging, met 24 miljoen Youtube views voor het nummer 'Zero' als resultaat. In 2015 bracht Liniker EP CRU uit, in 2016 volgde album REMONTA.
