'Ghost Forests' is de eerste release van Meg Baird en Mary Lattimore als duo, ook al zijn ze al lang bevriend. Een verbluffende plaat met 6 liedjes, waarbij Baird's folky stijl en Lattimore’s kunsten op de harp ongezien goed bij elkaar aansluiten. Je kan het album best begrijpen als intieme conversaties, nu eens emotioneel, dan weer prettig gestoord, altijd spontaan.
