Rustie (warp, Live)^(UK)

Het gaat hard voor de Britse wonderboy Rustie aka Russell Whyte. Na enkele solo releases op Stuff Records, Hyperdub en Wireblock, een samenwerking met Joker en remixes voor Modeselektor, Zomby en the Big Pink is hij op het punt gekomen dat hij worldwide gillende fans tot extase kan brengen door een nieuwe track op MySpace te posten. Aquacrunk, zo omschrijven enkele clubbers uit Glasgow al lachend zijn muziek. Begin oktober kwam zijn eerste ep op het prestigieuze Warp label, waarvoor hij samenwerkte met uit en nu lijkt Rustie's 'aquacrunk' aan zijn opmars begonnen te zijn. Zoals de naam al aangeeft, wordt 'Sunburst EP' omschreven als a bright and brilliant sensory shock.
