Survival (shogun Audio, Quarantine, Creative Source, Uk)
Steve Survival has been making music since the age of 13 years, trying to write beats on his Yamaha PSS. Some years later he started to work in a studio in Watford, called Basement Studios, and gained his first experience in multitrack recording and started to make his own songs on Cubase. By the time he was 17, Survival was working as an engineer at Bassment Recordings, on anything from live bands to techno. By that time he was working with a friend on a project called Accoustic Research and had their first release in 1994 on Vinyl Addiction, called Original Silencer. In 1998 they changed their names to Banaczech and had three releases on the fantastic - but now defunkt - Partisan Recordings. After a break from the scene, Steve has started out on his own using the name Survival. Since early 2006 he has had an impressive amount of releases on high profile label such as Friction's Shogun Audio, Fierce's Quarantine (together with Break), Bailey's Intasound, Horizons Music, Inperspective, Vibez and soon on Fabio's Creative Source, Play Musik and Dispatch Recordings. He is also part of the mysterious L.I.S. project (which stands for Living In Shadows, alongside Chris Inperspective) with releases on D Bridge's Exit Records and on Renegade Recordings.
