Yellow Days^(UK)

Yellow Days is het alterego van de Brit George van den Broek, een oude ziel van 19. Hij heeft een nieuw geluid te pakken: een versmelting van Howlin' Wolf, Mac DeMarco, King Krule en Ray Charles (zijn grote idool), een nieuw soort jazzy pop met lekkere beats en een scheut soul. Dit jaar bracht hij alvast single 'The Way Things Change' uit, een mission statement in die richting: van den Broek wil een new age of music creëren. Thema's zijn depressie, angst en verloren liefde; muziek is zijn therapie.

Na een EP uit 2016 kwam eind 2017 debuutalbum Is Everything OK In Your World uit. Zijn ijzersterke combinatie van diepe teksten en een fascinerend, nieuw geluid maken van hem 'one to watch'.
